Virtual therapy in Ontario.
I specialize in substance use, addictive behaviours, men’s issues, identity struggles, and career challenges.
My own journey into psychotherapy began with a period of depression triggered by burnout. I’ve wrestled with alcohol misuse and know what it’s like to be in the trenches of addictive behaviors. I’ve had struggles in past relationships, and done the hard work in men’s groups too.
My story won’t look exactly like yours, but these experiences anchor me and help me meet you where you are without judgment.

My clients would probably say that I keep things real.
I validate their feelings but don’t shy away from asking the tough questions to help them dig deeper.
They say I’ve got a calming presence, and I’ll throw in some humour when it feels right.
I keep therapy grounded: deep when it needs to be, practical when life’s throwing curveballs.

Virtual therapy in Ontario.
I specialize in divorce and separation, low self-esteem, nihilism, existential crises, inter-relationship conflicts and resolutions, anger, and stress.
Growing up in a high-conflict household, I often found myself playing the role of advocate and mediator.
Those early experiences shaped how I approach therapy today, giving me a deep understanding of relationship dynamics and the complex emotions—like anger and pride—that often drive us.
I was also raised in a religious environment, which means I can navigate conversations around faith and existentialism with care.
-
My clients would probably say I’m curious and encouraging, with a knack for asking thought-provoking questions (sometimes a lot of them).
Sessions with me tend to be pretty analytical—we’ll dig into the specifics of what you’re feeling and the process behind it.
I use hypothetical scenarios and media references (yes, we might talk about movies and shows) to make complex ideas click quickly. These shared references let us revisit important topics in shorthand—like a keyword that brings it all back into focus.
Clients say I’m caring and insightful, with a straightforward approach that helps them reflect, process, and move forward.

Virtual therapy in Ontario.
I specialize in working with adults from all walks of life. It has been my privilege to support a diverse range of individuals including college students, working professionals, individuals navigating relationship and home challenges, and refugee claimants.
My approach is rooted in strengths-based, client-centered, holistic, and anti-oppressive principles, and I am committed to being an affirming ally to the LGBTQIA2S+ community. My approach is inclusive and adaptable, always centered on meeting your unique needs and circumstances.
Like many of my clients, I’ve been through big life transitions—those moments where everything feels uncertain, and you have to redefine yourself.
Therapy wasn’t just a career choice for me; it was a calling born from my own experiences of growth and change.

Clients would describe me as warm, approachable, and empathetic. They’d say I create a space where they feel safe to show up as they are.
Our sessions might include a laugh or two (because humour has its place in healing), but we’d also dive into the big, meaningful stuff—exploring emotions, unpacking experiences, and figuring out what’s holding you back.
Clients often mention feeling gently challenged in a way that’s empowering. I aim to push just enough to help you grow, while making sure you feel fully supported. Together, we can explore your goals and challenges.

I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, low self-esteem, immigration stress, and cultural identity challenges. I’m passionate about supporting children, teens, and families facing bullying, ADHD, grief, and loneliness.
I also work with individuals from African and Muslim communities to break down mental health stigma and find paths to healing.
Growing up in Nigeria before moving to Canada, I’ve experienced firsthand how mental health can be misunderstood in certain cultures. My own journey inspired me to create spaces where people feel seen and supported.
As a Black Muslim therapist, I help clients explore how their identities shape their lives, empowering them to face challenges with resilience and confidence.
